EOPCC is a medical center in the heart of Emmitsburg, Maryland. Emmitsburg Osteopathic Primary Care Center, Inc. provides approximately 5,700 office visits a year to members of the Emmitsburg community and outlying areas of Frederick, Adams and Washington counties. In addition, EOPCC's medical center serves as the hub for medical services in the community by renting space to other healthcare providers, including cancer treatment providers.

EOPCC places special emphasis on providing quality care for the working poor of our community, and ensuring that they have access to the care they need to continue to be productive members of the community. In 2010, EOPCC was able to provide $60,000 worth of free medical care to the uninsured, under-insured and working poor members of the community, and an additional $117,000 to those that have some form of medical assistance. It is estimated that close to 1,200 office visits were provided to the uninsured and to those with medical assistance. EOPCC provides more than $90,000 in free medicines each year to the uninsured and underinsured. EOPCC's medical center is also a training site for medical students, nursing students, and pre-med college students. Already this year EOPCC has provided $46,000 in pro bono services and has written off more than $33,000 by participating in medical assistance plans.
