Emmitsburg Osteopathic Primary Care Center, Inc. is a debt free, small non-profit
teaching medical practice now hiring primary care osteopathic physicians. EOPCC was
established in 1999 and serves the greater Emmitsburg, MD area.
Because EOPCC is a non-profit teaching medical practice, those who carry student loans
will be able to apply for loan forgiveness if they serve here for 10 years.
EOPCC seeks to hire up to two physicians. We hope that those whom we hire will
eventually take over the practice extending our service to the underinsured well into the
future. It is important that these physicians make their home in Emmitsburg proper and
not commute from a remote location.

The students whom we teach are third and fourth year Osteopathic Medical School
students from WVSOM along with nurse practitioner students from four nurse
practitioner schools: the University of Maryland, Simmons College, Boston,
Chamberlain University of Downer’s Grove, IL, and the University of Cincinnati.
Meritus Osteopathic Medical School, Hagerstown, MD is open to sending us osteopathic
students if the teaching physician is board certified.

Thanks to a most generous donor, EOPCC has startup funds to support comfortable
1st year salary. After this, productivity would guide take home pay for the physicians. It
is important that we have dedicated physicians who are ready to work together,
alternate being on call, and be able to work as a team.
